In just the first half of 2026, Bump It Up San Rafael has served over 250 girls across five clinics and our second annual summer camp at Pickleweed Community Center, and we are just getting started.
This year we expanded our reach across Marin County through new partnerships with Marin VBC, Play Marin, and Marin Foster Care, bringing free, high-level volleyball training to girls in Novato, Marin City, and beyond. With 10 clinics and 2 summer camps on our 2026 calendar, girls now have access to Bump It Up programming every single month, because showing up consistently for our athletes matters. In July, we are proud to launch our first ever summer camp with Play Marin in Marin City, extending our cost-free programming to even more girls who deserve access to the game.
We were also recognized by Community Action Marin for inclusion in their Family Resource Guide, connecting more families across the county to our programs.
This fall, we are launching our 3rd annual Friends and Family Fundraiser, a community-driven campaign to power our programming through the end of the year and into 2027. Every dollar raised goes directly toward clinics coaching, healthy snacks, uniforms & equipment and scholarships for girls who need it most.
The momentum is real, the need is clear, and we are committed to showing up for every girl in our community.

We hosted five free clinics at Absolute Volleyball Club, a five-day summer camp, and back-to-school and Thanksgiving clinics at Pickleweed Community Center in San Rafael.

We were able to coach, mentor, and inspire more than 200 girls this year, many participating for the first time in an organized club-level sports setting.

Forty percent of the girls we coached participated in Bump It Up more than once, demonstrating genuine trust and enthusiasm from our players and families.

We created a Student Athlete Leadership Board, which gave more female youth athletes a voice in shaping the program and bringing in unique perspectives and ideas.

Partnerships with Absolute Volleyball and Pickleweed Community Center helped us keep overhead low this year, enabling every donation to fund direct program costs.

We used a PayPal fundraiser to raise money to support volleyball players from the SG Elite and Sunshine Volleyball clubs who were affected by the LA fires.
