Mission
Bump It Up San Rafael is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to tear down the financial walls that keep girls out of the game. Founded in 2024 by Marin Academy student-athlete Muriel Harris in San Rafael's Canal neighborhood, we believe the cost of a club volleyball program should never determine a girl's potential. We provide Marin County's first and only cost-free volleyball training pipeline, delivering free, high-level training, mentorship, and leadership development to girls ages 10–14 in under-resourced communities who would otherwise be left out. Because every girl deserves to show up confident, grow as an athlete and leader, and know she belongs on the court. We're closing the sports equity gap in Marin County, one girl at a time.
